Avocado Crema


This avocado crema is the perfect pairing for burrito bowls, tacos, burritos, salads, and even just a dip for raw veggies! I mean, how could something like avocado sauce NOT taste delicious?! So versatile, tasty, and the newest staple condiment to keep in your refrigerator. I bet you it won't last longer than a few days!

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados

Juice of 2 limes

Handful of fresh cilantro leaves (about ¾ cup)

1 clove garlic

2½ C nonfat plain greek yogurt

½ tsp freshly cracked pepper

½ tsp salt (plus more to taste)

Directions:

1. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add more salt/pepper to taste.

TIP: To thin out the crema to make more of a dressing, add 1 tbsp of water at a time until it reaches the desired consistency. If you would like to thicken the crema to make more of a dipping sauce, add more greek yogurt.

Total Time: 10 minutes
