Bread & Olive Oil Appetizer

It’s the season of hosting and serving a crowd can sometimes be very stressful. But guess what? Keeping things simple is ALWAYS the best way to go. And this recipe is so easy, I feel like it gets overlooked and forgotten about sometimes. It’s like the best part of going out to an Italian restaurant for dinner, but in your own home! I mean, who doesn’t love a warm, crusty baguette with olive oil and vinegar. Done. Try this next time you have guests and you’ll be happy you did!

Ingredients (4-6 servings):

1-2 fresh baguettes, warmed in the oven and sliced

High quality olive oil

High quality balsamic vinegar

Maldon sea salt

Freshly cracked black pepper

Add equal parts olive oil and balsamic vinegar to a ramekin. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with sliced baguette!
