Cheesy Garlic and Herb Beer Bread

You guys…Stop what you’re doing and go to Trader Joe’s so you can make this recipe TODAY. I’m serious! This cheesy, herby, garlic infused beer bread is absolutely to die for and was an instant favorite in our household. Not to mention it’s the easiest homemade bread you’ll ever make. You can slice it up and eat it with a spread of butter, use it as a base for avocado toast, or our personal favorite, make a grilled cheese sandwich and serve with tomato soup. The options are endless. Can’t wait for y’all to make this one!! Recipe below

Ingredients:

1 box of Trader Joe’s beer bread mix

1 (12 oz) can of your favorite beer (club soda works too)

1 C grated cheddar cheese

2 Tbsp chopped thyme leaves

4 Tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 deg. In a small sauce on, melt butter with half of the chopped thyme and half of the sliced garlic. Once melted, keep heating on low so the flavors can meld together. Pour beer into a large bowl and gradually stir in the beer bread mix. Add cheddar cheese, remaining thyme and garlic and stir until combined. Pour into a greased loaf pan, and press the dough into the pan so it’s evenly distributed. Pour the melted butter on top of the dough, and bake for 50 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Slice and serve!
